LOOK AT THE BIRDS retreat on Holy Island

We have two retreats at Marygate House on Holy Island in 2023 - timed for autumn migration. Each runs from Monday afternoon until Friday morning.
Our time will be spent on and around Holy Island which in the autumn hosts large numbers of waders, duck and geese as well as arriving migrants from continental Europe and warblers from Siberia.
The all-inclusive price is 585 pounds per person (plus 150 pounds single room supplement) which includes 4 nights full board, accommodation and retreat fees.
Marygate is a very comfortable Georgian house with twin bedded rooms that share bathrooms and toilets. The food is home-made and consistently praised for its good quality. We will have exclusive use of the house and its facilities during our two retreats which includes its impressive library about Celtic Christianity.
In order to book your room, please firstly contact me about availability. You will need to send a deposit of 185 pounds which is returnable until 6 weeks before when the balance is due. 50% is refundable up until 4 weeks before, and 25% refundable until 2 weeks to go.
LOOK AT THE BIRDS retreats are special opportunities to learn in depth about birds and what they reveal about God's love. We have guided birdwatching walks suitable for complete beginners, plus a rhythm of quiet contemplative worship and reflections on some of the main birds featured in the Bible like the dove, the eagle, the raven and the owl.
